VIDEO RACE REPORT: Frostbike MTB Race 2014

Team905 pb Steelmark Business Services kicked off the 2014 season at the Frostbike MTB Race in Port Colborne, Ontario Sunday. Hosted by the Shorthills Cycling Club, the Frostbike is always a great success. With solid organization, a challenging course and amazing volunteers, the 2014 edition was no different.

Just over 100 riders braved the cold and snowy conditions to test their winter fitness on the 8 km course. The format is simple with groups of 5 to 6 riders leaving every 30 seconds and racing against the clock. Each rider has two laps to achieve their best time.

Team905 riders Dan Dakin(@dandakinmedia), Josh Sekel(@josh_sekel), Steve DeBoer(@zoomsteve) and Jamie Schuman(@jamieschuman) headed to Port Colborne  for a day of great racing. Official results for the guys; Steve, 1st 40-49 (34:17), Dan, 7th 30-39 (45:08), Josh, 13th 30-39 (56:25), Jamie, 5th Single Speed (37:10).
